Quickmat Hoop are preloaded contoured circumferential matrices that are designed to deliver precision and consistent clinical results. The detachable stainless-steel instrument (myHooper instrument) allows fast, intuitive placement using a Tofflemire-style technique, but without leaving a bulky holder in the patient’s mouth. This eliminates interference with soft tissues and prevents the matrix from being displaced during the procedure.
The colour-coded adjustable retainer remains securely in place without loosening, while the swivelling arm allows it to be used in any quadrant.
Quickmat Hoop preloaded matrices are available regular and tabbed, in two circumferential sizes (small and large) and three height options (5.5, 6.5, 8.0mm).
Quickmat Hoop matrices are available in a tabbed version with Control Hoop Tabs to help with large multi-surface composite restorations. These are specifically designed to facilitate reliable tight contacts when the matrix band unintentionally pulls away from adjacent teeth and open contacts occur.
